Allan Kayiwa joins Vipers SC

Three-time Uganda Premier League champions Vipers Sports Club have completed the signing of attacking midfielder Allan Kayiwa.

The enterprising youngster joins the Venoms on a two-year deal as a free agent after parting ways with Tooro United Football Club where he spent last season.

“We can confirm the signing of forward Allan Kayiwa from Tooro United,” Vipers announced on the official website.

“Kayiwa was officially unveiled to his new teammates by Vipers head coach Michael Nam Ouma this morning at the club training,” further read the club’s statement.

Kayiwa was delighted to join last season’s league runners up saying he “made the best decision” after being courted by several top-flight teams.

“I have made the best choice to join this great club, it’s my new home and am so excited to be here. I am ready for the new challenge as well.”

According to online sources, Kayiwa started his playing career at Tooro United’s junior side, also formerly known as Soana Young before breaking through into the senior team in 2015.
