As Uganda Premier League clubs continue with their back room preparations ahead of the new season, Richard Wasswa Bbosa has committed his future Tooro United Football Club.
The ex-SC Villa and Express FC gaffer has renewed his contract with the club for another one year.
Bbosa, a CAF “B” licence hold joined Tooro, also formerly known as Soana FC at the genesis of the 2018/2019 season after parting ways with league record champions Sports Club Villa.
“We have agreed with Wasswa Bbosa to continue with his responsibilities as head coach at Tooro United Football Club,” Smart Obed, the majority shareholder at Tooro United FC told Kawowo Sports.
“This is after satisfactory work executed during his first year of service at the club. We have given him one year with a good sign on fee (shs 13m) and undisclosed salary with good daily and match allowances.”
He guided the club to a fourth-place finish last season with 49 points first. He will labour to keep hold of some of his key players with diminutive forward Allan Kayiwa already destined for league runners up Vipers Sports Club.
Tooro United also recently got a new partner after city businessman Ssipelito Ssesenga bought 49% of club shares.
