Uganda Cranes accommodated in a five-star hotel after landing in Egypt

After several weeks of camp preparations in Abu Dhabi, Uganda Cranes finally jetted off to Egypt for the 2019 Total Africa Cup of Nationals finals.

The Cranes, who are seeded in Group A with the hosts Egypt landed in the country’s capital city of Cairo “at “7:30 PM aboard Egypt Air from Abu Dhabi” according to the local football governing body FUFA.

The lads along with the officials led by FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo are now accommodated at “Radisson Blu Hotel”.

While in Abu Dhabi, the team played two buildup matches against Turkmenistan at the New York University Stadium and against Ivory Coast in which they registered a goalless draw and a 1-0 victory respectively.

DR Congo and Zimbabwe are the other two teams in Group A with the Uganda Cranes.
