Newly promoted Uganda Premier League outfit Wakiso Giants Football Club have appointed Kefa Kisala as their new head coach.
The ex-Express gaffer put pen to paper on a two-year renewable contract and will be deputised by former Nyamityobora FC lead tactician James Odoch.

“The club will announce a second assistant in the due course as preparations for life in the top division officially begins.”
Kisala who has been out of work since his exit from the Betway Stadium Wankulukuku last season had this to say about his appointment at the Purple Sharks;
“It’s a great honour to work this ambitious club. It’s going to be a big challenge but one am willing to take on and I will do all I can to make this exciting project a success.” He noted as quoted on the club’s official website.

Meanwhile, club CEO Sula Kamoga described the former Uganda Cranes international as “experienced tactician”.
“Kefa Kisala is a very ambitious and experienced tactician who we think will add value to the team in regards to our ambitions. As a club, we shall offer all the necessary support to him and the technical staff,” Kamoga said.
Indeed he is no short of experience having been at the helm of clubs like URA FC, Masaka Local Council, Maji FC, Iganga TC and BUL FC in the capacity of head coach.
Meanwhile, the Giants retained their goalkeeping coach Ali Kiggundu as well as Team Manager Mathias Kisitu despite the earlier departure of coach Ibrahim Kirya who guided the club to top flight football.
