Uganda Premier League champions to take part in CECAFA Kagame Cup

StarTimes Uganda Premier League champions Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) will take part in this year’s edition of the CECAFA Kagame Cup.

“We wish to confirm that KCCA Football Club will represent Uganda at the CECAFA – Kagame Cup 2019,” club CEO Anisha Muhoozi is quoted on the club’s website.

The competition will see the respective reigning champions of the different leagues across the CECAFA Region battle it out for the trophy in Rwanda’s capital Kigali.

The tournament that is slated to kick off on 6th–21st July will see the Kasasiro Boys return from their off-season break for training on Monday 17th June 2019.
