Manchester United are still interested in signing Leicester City defender Harry Maguire after failing to land him last summer.
United were last season failed by the Foxes excessive price tag of £70m for the 26-year-old England center-back.
It’s also understood that Leicester, under their manager Brendan Rogers are not interested in parting ways with the 2018 World Cup semifinalist, who last September penned a five-year contract.
The Red Devils in their pursuit for the defender will however face stiff competition from rivals and Premier League champions Manchester City who are also looking to strengthen their backline after letting go of Captain Vincent Kompany.
It’s reported that Solskjaer also remains interested in landing Crystal Palace’s England Under-21 full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who was named as Palace’s player of the year this season.
According to Sky Sport, United had a £40m bid for the player rejected with the club reported to be holding out for at least £60m for the youngster.
