OKwi, Kateregga and Wadada join Cranes camp in Abu Dhabi

Simba Sports Club forward Emma Okwi, Azam FC right back Nico Wakiro Wadada and Maritzburg midfielder Allan Kateregga have all joined the Uganda Cranes camp in Abu Dhabi.

The South African based “Dancing Rasta” joined the Cranes on Tuesday morning but did not take part in training according to FUFA.

Meanwhile, Tanzanian based duo Okwi and Wadada joined the camp later on Tuesday evening to bring the total of players in camp to 24.

Uganda Cranes head coach Sebastien Desabre summoned 28 players for preparations ahead of the 2019 Total Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

Out of the 28, 24 are now in camp in Abu Dhabi and according to the FUFA PRO Ahmed Hussein, Ethiopian based shot-stopper Robert Odongkara who features at Adama City and Swedish based defender Ronald Brian Mukiibi Dungu will arrive on Wednesday.

The other player is KCCA FC goalkeeper Charles Lukwago, who is currently with the second national team in the 2019 COSAFA Championship taking place in South Africa.
