Three-time Uganda Premier League winners Vipers Sports Club are interested in Tooro United FC lead tactician coach Wasswa Bbosa.
The Kitende based club who failed to defend the top tier title losing it to local rivals KCCA FC have struggled with managers over the years. They were also knocked out of the Stanbic Uganda Cup by FUFA Big League side Proline FC at the quarterfinals.
Vipers sacked the 2017/2018 title-winning coach Miguel Jorge Da Costa and subsequently replaced him with Mexico’s Javier Martinez Espinoza who was also sacked in the course of the season.
Kenya’s Michael Ouma was then brought in as interim gaffer as long with coach Edward Golola, who guided the club to their 2015 league title to steer the club forward but fell short as they finished second on the table.
The Venoms have now set their sights on former Express FC tactician, who in the 2017/18 campaign guide SC Villa to a second place finish on the table.
Bbosa in his first season has guided Tooro United to a fourth place finish on the league table. No concrete agreement has been reached upon by the two parties but sources close to the Kitende camp intimate that the move could eventually happen.
