Bul FC thrush Paidha Black Angels as Kirinya condemn Tooro United

Action from the StarTimes Uganda Premier League saw Bul Football Club thrush Paidha Black Angels by 3-0 at the Njeru Technical Centre Stadium in Jinja.

Two first half goals from Daniel Shabena and Douglas Owori in the 17th and 45th minutes respectively gave coach Peter Onen’s side a well-deserved half time lead at Njeru.

In the second stanza, Hamis Tibita scored in the 57th minute to make it 3-0 for the home side, leaving the visitors of Paidha Black Angels with fighting for their lives as their only option.

Elsewhere, Kirinya Jinja SS FC condemned Tooro United FC to a 2-1 defeat in the other game played on the evening at the Kavumba Recreation grounds in Wakiso.

Allan Kayiwa scored to give Tooro United the lead in as early as the 4th minute but Kirinya weren’t willing to go down without a fight. Serious questions were asked of Tooro and at the stroke of halftime, they were short of answers as Joel Madondo scored to level matters for Charles Ayiekoh’s side.

Madondo was at it again in the 64th minute when he netted to make it 2-1 as Kirinya condemned Coach Wasswa Bbosa’s side to their second defeat of the season while the striker raised his personal tally to four goals this season, more than any other player.
