Victorious Uganda Cranes have already departed the Pearl of Africa for Maseru for their reverse fixture against Lesotho in the 2019 African Cup of Nations Qualifiers.
Emmanuel Okwi put up a Man of the Match performance as he scored in either half while his dribbling skills got him fouled in the forbidden area before Farouk Miya stepped up to convert the spot kick as Uganda moved top of the group with 7 points.
Okwi, off his left foot from outside the box fired a shot in the 10th minute that gave Uganda the lead while Miya sent the goalkeeper in the opposite direction when he turned up to take the penalty, making it 2-0 by the 36th minute.
In the second half, striker Edrisa Lubega provided the assist through a cross which Okwi, the Simba FC forward headed home to make it 3-0.
Now the team is off to the south of the continent as they step up their qualification campaign, competing for a slot in the finals that will be hosted by Cameroon next year.
