In the later stages of the recent summer transfer window in Europe, French midfielder and Manchester United star Paul Pogba was the subject of transfer speculations.
The development followed strong reports that linked the 2018 World Cup winner with a move to Barcelona in Spain.
Since then, his longer stay at Old Trafford has been cast in doubt but the former Juventus midfielder says he “still has a contract” with the Red Devils.
Speaking to Sky Germany before France’s UEFA Nations League match against Germany, the 25-year-old said;
“My future is currently in Manchester. I still have a contract, I am playing there at the moment, but who knows what will happen in the next few months.”
It has however been reported in the recent past that there is a rift between the player and his manager Jose Mourinho.
“We have a pure coach-player relationship, that’s right. One thing I can assure you, I will always give 100%, no matter which coach I always give everything for United – I cannot say more,” Pogba, who signed a five-year deal with the club when he rejoined the club in August 2016 from Juventus.
