Experienced forward Tony Odur has returned to Express Football Club ahead of the 2018/2019 season.
The former Brabrand IF (Denmark) and KCCA FC striker reunites with the Red Eagles for a fourth stint in his playing career.
Odur first featured for the Wankulukuku based club for three seasons between 2003 and 2006. He then came back during the 2009/2010 season.
In 2015, he returned to the club after parting ways with Nkana Red Devils in Zambia. Following the departure of Caesar Samson Okhuti to league rivals KCCA Football Club, Odur assumed full responsibility of leading the Red Army’s attack.
Donning the shirt 10 in the Express FC jersey in the 2015/2016 campaign and deputizing Vincent Kayizzi as captain, Odur netted 10 goals before being voted as the fans player of the season.
Odur then moved on and joined Vipers Sports Club. Last month, he was close to joining Botswana’s topflight side Galaxy but the deal fell through.
Express aka Mukwano Gwa’bangi continue their rebuilding process under the tutelage of Kefa Kisala as head coach and the chairmanship of City lawyer Kiryowa Kiwanuka after finishing 13th last season with just 31 points from 30 games and surviving relegation by just a whisker.
