Victories for Man United, Chelsea, Liverpool & Man City

The long awaited 2018/2019 Premier League season returned this weekend. Last season’s runners upManchester United kicked off things as they hosted Leicester City on Friday night.

Liverpool kicked off Supper Sunday with a convincing 4-0 win over Manuel Pellegrini’s West Ham United. Last season’s top scorer Mohamed Salah opened the scoring after just 20 minutes while a brace from Sadio Mane with substitute Daniel Sturridge picking the fourth.

Arsenal began their post Arsene Wenger era with a 2-0 loss at home against reigning champions Man City. Raheem Sterling and Bernado Silva were on target in either half as the beat the Gunners to begin their title defence with maximum points.
