Former Vipers Sports Club head coach Jorge Miguel Da Costa is set for a reunion with his former player and Ugandan center-back Halid Lwaliwa.

After being sacked by the Venoms in July, Da Costa landed a job with Botswana side Jwaneng Galaxy FC barely a fortnight ago.

The Portuguese tutor now wants to sign his former defender Lwaliwa.

The player was on the verge of completing a move to Extension Gunners FC, a club in Botswana in July but talks between the two sides fell through.

Lwaliwa, who is now a free agent after parting ways with Uganda Premier League champions Vipers also earlier failed to agree personal with KPL (Kenyan Premier Leauge) giants AFC Leopards.

The defender, whose career has been hit with serious injuries in the last couple of years is now in talks with Jwaneng according to reports coming in from Botswana.
