Wales’ midfielder Aaron Ramsey could soon be on his way out of Arsenal after the club withdrew its offer for a new deal.
According to BBC Sport, the Gunners had a “four-year agreement” in place for the player “but Arsenal pulled out”.
Although the reasons for the withdrawal of the deal are not clear, what remains sure is the Ramsey is destined for an exit from the Emirates stadium.
The 27-year-old Welshman is currently the longest serving player at the club having joined them in 2008 in a £4.8m move from hometown and childhood club Cardiff City.
Arsenal will be left with one option of selling Ramsey in January with clubs like Manchester United, Juventus, Inter Milan and previously Chelsea expressing interest or else risk losing him for free when his contract expires in the summer on June 30th 2019.
Ramsey will also have an option of signing a pre-contract agreement with any foreign club from 1st January when the mid-season transfer window opens.
