Barcelona will sign Chile midfielder Arturo Vidal from Bayern Munich after the two sides agreed to a fee in the region £27m for the player.
The 31-year-old former Juventus midfielder will sign for the La Liga champions on a three-year deal.
"Barcelona will shortly inform everyone about the arrival of the player and the agenda of the presentation ceremony," Barca revealed in a statement.
Vidal joined Bayern Munich in 2015 and went to win three Bundesliga titles with the club. The German Cup and two-time German Super Cup winner thanked the club for "giving me the chance to embrace a new challenge in Barcelona".
He will be expected to undergo a medical in the coming few days before completing the move.

Speaking about the transfer, Bayern had this to say on their social media;
"We'd like to thank Arturo for all his contributions and wish him all the best in Spain."
Meanwhile, the 2013 Champions League winners’ chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge was full of praise for the midfielder saying, “he always turned up in important games and we could always rely on him.”
Vidal left Juventus after for 4 years, winning four Serie A titles, having joined from Bayer Leverkusen in 2011.
