Monaco have completed the signing of Chelsea target and Russian midfielder Aleksandr Golovin from CSKA Moscow.
The 22-year-old World cup sensational had been linked with a move to the Premier League giants after his impressive delay in Russia before his side bow out at the quarter-final stage.
"This is a new adventure for me," Golovin said
Golovin joins the 2016/2017 French Ligue 1 champions on a five-year contract for an undisclosed fee.
"Aleksandr has chosen the sporting project of Monaco, which will offer him the best conditions to continue his progress," Monaco vice president and chief executive Vadim Vasilyev said after the player completed his move.
