Four-time league champions Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC) have completed the signing of left-footed winger Abdul-Malikc Vitalis Tabi ahead of the new season.
The enterprising midfield joins the Tax Collectors for an undisclosed fee from Sports Club Villa where his contract still had one year left to it.
“I’m ready to work, and work hard. But I also want to appreciate the good that my former clubs have contributed towards developing me,” Tabu is quoted on the club’s official Facebook page.
He signed a one-year deal with the Sam Ssimbwa-coached side on Thursday after agreeing personal terms with the club.
“I am what I am in soccer partly because of them. URA FC is one of the desired clubs I looked forward to belonging to and I know I have come to the right people” he added.
The former Paidha Black Angels and Onduparaka FC star joins a host of players that have been recruited by coach Ssimbwa ahead of the 2018/2019 campaign. Some of these include Robert Omunk, Matthew Odongo, former SC Villa left-back Yesseri Waibi, goalkeeper Salim Wekiya and Joshua Kawadwa among others.
He will be expected to join his teammates on Monday morning for a training session at Homesdallen Primary School playground in Gayaza.
