“We agreed terms with the previous regime at his club (SC Villa) and we are happy to have him,” KCCA FC head Mike Mutebi told Kawowo Sports.

“He is one of those players that have much potential but yet to realise it to the fullest. Maybe now is the time to get that. He is talented and hardworking and we hope he continues with that at Lugogo,” Mutebi is further quoted.

Kyambedde joined the Jogoos last season from arch rivals Express Football Club. He a key player to coach Wasswa Bbosa’s side last season as Villa challenged for the league title.

The midfielder had rejoined the Red Eagles prior to the 2014/2015 season on loan from Vipers SC along with striker John Ssemazzi but an impressive 2016/2017 season saw him switch to Villa.

Kyambadde will join former teammates Nicholas Kasozi and Bernard Muwanga who have already left Villa Park.
