Sports Club Villa defender Ibrahim Kiyemba is off to South African side Stellenbosch Football Club for trials upon an invitation from the club.
According reports from the Jogoos’ camp, Kiyemba received an invitation from the National First Division side last week.
The center-back now becomes the fourth Uganda Premier League (UPL) player to earn himself an invitation to a South African side for trials.
First was Onduparaka FC’s duo Muhammad Shaban and Rashid Toha who had unsuccessful trials at Premier Soccer League (PLS) outfit SuperSport Untied and KCCA FC’s Timothy Awany who left earlier this week to Ajax Cape Town.
Stellenbosch FC were originally known as Vasco da Gama before changing name last year when they shifted to Stellenbosch in Western Cape Town.
They are based at the Stellenbosch Academy of Sports (SAS).
