Cristiano Ronaldo asks his agent for a Manchester United return

According to an English paper The Sun, Cristiano Ronaldo has asked his agent Jorge Mendes to “do everything possible” bring him back to his old club Manchester United.

Reports sparked off on Friday that the 32-year-old Portuguese forward wants a move away from Spanish giants Real Madrid despite their recent triumph in the UEFA Champions League.

Rumours from Spain suggest that Ronaldo has grown frustrated over Madrid’s lack of support of any nature amidst allegations of a £13millon tax fraud case against him.

Ronaldo’s speculated move from Spain has attracted attentions and huge bids from several gigantic clubs across the football glob including his former club Manchester United. Germany side Bayern Munich, League 1 giants Paris Saint Germain and Chelsea are all interested in signing the sensational forward.

Despite having a complicated relationship following their fallout at the Bernabeu, Cristiano and Man United manager Jose Mourinho share the same agent.

Ronaldo left old Trafford eight years ago for a record £80million and has fuelled further speculation of his move after dodging to speak to the media after Portugal’s 2-2 draw against Mexico yesterday at the ongoing Confederations Cup in Russia.
