Arua based Uganda Premier League outfit Onduparaka Football Club are in search for a goalkeeping coach ahead of the 2018/2019 season.
The development follows last week’s departure of their goalkeeping tutor Moses Oloya, who has since joined league reigning champions Vipers Sports Club.
Meanwhile, the Caterpillars have appointed former Maroons FC tactician Asaph Mwebaze as their new head coach.
Mwebaze put pen to paper on “a three-year contract” with the club according to www.futaa.com
The experienced gaffer was fired by the Prisons side before being replaced by former KCCA FC, Vipers and Azam FC coach George ‘Best’ Nsiimbe. Maroons accused Mwebaze of leaving for the USA for a vacation without formally informing his bosses.
In Arua, he joins familiar faces in the names of Pius Bamwange, the former Maroons CEO as well as defender Richard Ayiko.
At the Bet Way Green Light Stadium, Mwebaze will be expected to work with Simeon Masaba, who guided the club prior to the end of last season following the exit of coach Livingstone Mbabazi.
Mbabazi went on to join Kyetume FC in the FUFA Big League before being named as the Mbarara City head coach in June 2018.
Meanwhile, Leo Adraa is expected to remain as the club’s technical director.
