League reigning champions Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) whipped newcomers Masavu Football Club by 6-0 on Saturday evening in a game played at the StarTime Stadium Lugogo, in front of a sizeable crowd.
Goals from striker Derrick Nsibambi, Samuel Ssekamate and Allan Katerega were on target in the 9th, 17 and 36th minutes respectively as the Kasasiro Boys took a comfortable halftime lead.
In the second half, a brace from Tito Okello in the 58th and in the 70th minutes respectively further stretched the lead to 5-0 for coach Mike Mutebi's men while Patrick Kaddu hammered in the last nail in the visitors' coffin with just five minutes to full time.
The massive result elevated the 12-time league winner back into the top of the Azam Uganda Premier League table with 13 points after 8 games.
On the other hand, Masavu remained bottom of the 16-team log with just four points from a similar number of games as they goal difference continues to worsen, now at negative 13.
