Proline baptise UPDF in a six-goal thriller—Uganda Premier League


At the StarTimes Stadium in Lugogo, Kampala, Proline Football Club baptised UPDF Football Club in a six-goal thriller. Proline won the fixture by 4-2.


Daniel Opolot Isiagi scored a brace with a goal in each half (34th and 75th minutes respectively) while David Owori converted from the penalty spot in the 47th minute and later on Fahad Bayo in the 79th as Mujib Kasule’s side thumped the visitors.

Isa Mubiru and Julius Malingum score the two goals for the army side in the 45th and 72nd minutes respectively but these were only consolations on the day.

Proline concluded the game with ten men after senior defender Savio Kabugo was booked twice in a space of three minutes (86th and 89th) before being given marching orders by the match official.
