URA trounce Bul as KCCA stumble against Bright Stars—Uganda Premier League

Four-time league champions Uganda Revenue Football Club registered their second victory of the season in style as they trounced Bul Football Club by 4-0 on Tuesday evening at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.

The Jinja-based side were hoping to bounce back after their 3-1 thumping by KCCA FC over the weekend but instead fell into the path of a hungry lion as coach Kefa Kisala faced off with his former bosses.

Charles Ssempa scored a 12th minute goal to put the Tax Collectors in the lead with the visitors showing some good fighting spirit until recess.

After recess, Henry Kiseka, Ajab Abdurahman and Ronald Kigongo put the Eastern giants to the sword with goals in the 46th, 65th and 90th minutes respectively.

The result elevated the Ibrahim Kirya-coached side to sixth place on the 16-team table with 8 points from 6 games while Bul remain just a place above relegation with 5 points.

Elsewhere, reigning champions KCCA Football stumbled as Bright Stars FC held them to a goalless draw at the StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo.
