Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) champions Kampala Capital City Authority FC held Express FC to a goalless draw to book a date withPaidha Black Angels in 2017 Uganda Cup final.
In a game played at Muteesa II Memorial Stadium, Wankulukuku on Tuesday evening, visitors KCCA frustrated home side Express in a goalless encounter as they Kasasiro Boys ejected the Red Eagles 3-2 on aggregate following their first leg victory at the Phillip Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
KCCA who are chasing a season double advanced to the finals of the 43rd edition of the Uganda Cup as they continue with the quest for a ninth title of the annual competition.
They will now face off with Paidha Black Angels in the finals that are scheduled to be played the Bet Way Green Light Stadium in Arua in less than a fortnight from now.
Paidha knocked out Sadolin Paints on a 3-2 aggregate score after two semi-final ties in Zombo (Bar Okoro Stadium) and in Kampala (Namboole Stadium) respectively. The Black Angels won the first leg by 2-0 before losing the reverse fixture by 2-1.
KCCA will worry of Paidha, who knocked out the 2015/16 champions Vipers Sports Club by a goal to nil.
