What You Missed (Must Read):

Uganda Cranes earlier listed a number of friendlies to be played by the team as they get ready for Africa Cup of Nations in a few weeks time.

On Sunday 1st January, Cranes arrived in Tunisia to prepare for the friendly that was slated on Wednesday 4th.

The game went down in Tunisia on Wednesday evening which concluded with a 2-0 win in favor of the hosts, the goals were played in both 1st and 2nd half.

The first goal that was scored by one Lahmar Hamza in the 6th minute left the Cranes goal-less for the rest of 1st half as they struggled to equalize.

Then the 2nd half came in, the winning and last goal was scored in the 47th minute by Yacoubi. This made it bad on the side of the Cranes in that they had to concede the defeat from the hosts Tunisia.

The remaining friendlies to be played by the Cranes are:  Slovakia (January 8) and then AFCON champions Ivory Coast (January 11) will follow.
