AC Milan European Ban Overturned By Court Of Arbitration For Sport

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has overturned Ac Milan’s one-year ban from European football.

Europe’s football governing body, UEFA had issued a one-year ban to the Italian giants for breaching the Financial Fair Play requirement to break even after spending £200m on transfers.

Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has now upheld the club’s appeal and asked UEFA to issue a more “proportionate disciplinary measure.”

The decision implies that AC Milan are now free to play in this season’s Europa League, having qualified after finishing sixth in the Serie A last season.
