Cameroon fail to advance to the semi-final after losing to Germany

The FIFA Confederations cup tournament games that were played on Sunday evening saw the African side of Cameroon lose to their opponents Germany by 3-1.

Other game was between Chile and Australia where Chile managed to advance to the semi-final where they will be facing Cristiano Ronaldo's national team Portugal on Wednesday (28th June). Chile's only goal was scored by Martin Rodriguez (67') and Australia got theirs from James Troisi in 42nd minute - where the match ended a 1-1 draw.

Germany after beating Cameroon 3-1 meant a lot to the national team the fact that they also made it to the tournament's semi-final where they will be playing Mexico on Thursday (29th June). Germany goals came from Kerem Demirbay (48') and Timo Werner (66', 81') - Cameroon's only goal came in at 78th minute from Aboubakar Vincent Pate.
