Novak Djokovic Beats South Africa’s Kevin Anderson To Wimbledon

Novak Djokovic clinched his fourth Wimbledon title after beating South Africa’s Kevin Anderson to Wimbledon.

The 12th seed won 6-2 6-2 7-6 (7-3) to take home his 13th Grand Slam title and the first major since the 2016 French Open.

"I had many moments of doubt, I didn't know if could come back to this level to compete," the 31-year-old Serb said.

"There is no better place to make a comeback, it's a sacred place for the world of tennis, it's very special."

Djokovic also won the Wimbledon title in 2011, 2014 and 2015.

He now moves clear of Roy Emerson as he continues to close the gap on the list of all-time Grand Slam men’s singles title winners, moving in fourth place behind Pete Sampras at 14, Rafael Nadal at 17 and Roger Federer at 20.
