Manchester United Will Have A Difficult Season—Warns Jose Mourinho

Manager Jose Mourinho has warned that his Manchester United will have a “difficult season” if they don’t strengthen their squad before Thursday’s transfer deadline.

Mourinho made the remarks following United’s 1-0 loss to Bayern Munich on Sunday in their final pre-season game.

Javi Martinez’s second half header was enough to secure victory for the German champions.

"My CEO knows what I want and I still have a few days to wait and see what happens," Mourinho told MUTV.

"The other clubs who compete with us are really strong and already have fantastic teams. Or they are investing massively like Liverpool, who are buying everything and everybody. If we don't make our team better it will be a difficult season for us," he added.
