Ugandan football administrators named on CAF Committees

In formation coming from the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) reveals that Ugandan football administrators have been named on different CAF Committees.

According to the local football governing body website (www.fufa.co.ug), former FUFA General Secretary Harunah Mawanda Moses has been appointed to the Organising Committee of African Nations Championship (CHAN) for the period 2017-2021.

“The 26 man Committee is headed by Hassan Bility of Liberia while Rui Eduardo Da Costa (Angola) and Wadie Jary (Tunisia) is the 1st Vice President and 2nd Vice President respectively.”

Edgar Watson, currently serving as the FUFA CEO has been named on the CAF Technical and Development Committee whose Chairman is Zambia’s Kalusha Bwalya.

The same Kalusha was recently picked to head the technical committee that will be vetting the next coach for the Uganda Cranes job.

Meanwhile, the FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo who also doubles as a CAF Executive Member has been named to the Development Committee for Futsal and Beach Soccer
