It will go down in history that Island based side Madagascar beat Uganda Cranes in their own backyard. The Uganda Cranes fell against Madagascar losing by 2-1 in a build-up match played on Wednesday evening at the StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo.
KCCA Football Club midfielder Muzamir Mutyaba scored a 28th-minute goal to give Uganda the lead and the advantage by recess.
In the second half, danger man Rio Carlous Anoriananicinos scored a brace in the 49th and 88th minutes respectively as the visitors came off from behind to win the game by 2-1 in which Uganda fielded two different teams in either half.
Uganda is preparing to host Ghana in the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers on Match-day five at Namboole stadium on Saturday 7th October 2017.
