On Friday 28th December 2018, Uganda Cranes head coach Sebastien Desabre marked one year in office as the national football team gaffer.
Desabre was unveiled a year ago as the Cranes gaffer, taking over from an interim Moses Basena, who had assumed the mantle of the team following the departure of then lead tactician Milutin ‘Micho” Sredojevic.
Since he assumed the duty, Desabre had led the into 13 games, winning four, drawing four and losing five.
He guided the team to the qualification of the 2019 African Cup of Nations finals as leaders from Group L with a game to spare. That game will be against the Taifa Stars of Tanzania in March next year.
