URA FC & Tooro United share the spoils – UPL

Match day 9 of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League (UPL) continued yesterday with a fixture at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.

In front of the Sanyuka TV cameras, four-time Uganda Premier League champions Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC) shared the spoils with the visitors of Tooro United FC in a goalless draw.

The draw was the fifth consecutive draw for the tax collectors who continuously fail to score goals despite starting the game with two strikers.

After the recess, head coach Omulangila Sam Ssimbwa made immediate changes, introducing Vitalis Tabu and Mathew Tayo for the  Shafik Kagimu and Robert Mukongotya respectively but his side still couldn’t find the back of the net.

The result saw URA leapfrog Express FC to go 8th with 13 points on the 16-team log while Tooro United remained 12th with 7 points.

FT: URA FC 0-0 Tooro United FC
